April 2, 2008 at 11:53am | By Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles may be heading down the isle soon. The couple apparently took out a marriage license in Scarsdale, New York, according to a report on People’s web site.

The license is valid for 60 days from yesterday, so there is still plenty of time for one of the two to get cold feet. Of course, this could all be a cruel April Fool’s joke - they did get the license on 4/1/08 after all.
You may remember that the two were reportedly getting married back in December at the Cap Juluca resort on Anguilla, but of course that never happened.
Our friends over at Hecklerspray seem to think the nuptials are a sure thing - they are even guessing on dates…
Now Jay-Z and Beyonce are definitely going to get married because they’ve just taken out a marriage license. That’s right - at some point over the next 60 days there’s definitely going to be a Jay-Z wedding. We’d suggest it takes place on May 14th - because there’s nothing more romantic than a wedding that takes place on the 212th anniversary of the smallpox vaccination being first administered.
